The acquisition process (which does not utilize 1031 raised capital) focuses on identifying a property with a reasonably predictable financial performance. FORT Properties' highest priority is to identify and acquire properties with low to moderate risk, stable cash flow, and reasonable certainty of preservation of value. FORT Properties will also consider a property with moderate risk located in markets showing positive net absorption.
FORT Properties' in-place acquisition equity and debt facilities enable it to close quickly with minimal contingencies.
